Ristorante La Botte is a culinary treasure nestled in the heart of White Plains. Our cuisine is inspired by a diverse collection of cross-cultural Italian influences spanning from antiquity to present day. With respect to tradition and the conviction to try new techniques and ingredients, La Botte transforms Italian cuisine with extraordinary care. Our Ingredients are of the finest quality and responsibly sourced. We offer homemade pastas that are made daily in our kitchen, using time-honored traditional methods to the freshest seafood and air-dried steaks and so much more.
The owners have over 50 years of collective experience in the restaurant industry. La Botte means the barrel. A barrel is typically sealed to impart its unique flavor profiles into the product it houses to help catalyze key chemical changes while the product matures. The restaurant was given the name to reflect the time when it's' opening occurred. Shortly after its' grand opening, the country as well as the world went into quarantine due to the pandemic. Thus, La Botte was sealed for over a year, giving us time to take in all the elements and changes the world endured. When we reopened, we had aged to perfection.

Fredi Plaku was raised in Venice, Italy. His career had humble beginnings, starting as a dishwasher, to support his journey through culinary school and pursue passion and natural gifts. He worked at many different restaurants throughout Sicily and Venice, eventually opening his own restaurant Aquario. After over a decade of running his own place in Italy, Chef Fredi desired to bring all that he had learned across the ocean to the states. He has been one of the key elements to the success of the La Botte. With a passion for creating traditional flavors with a modern twist, Fredi has been honoring his skills in Italian cuisine since his earl days in Venice.
